You might be wondering about our name.

Formerly Direct Associates, we recently re-branded our agency to better reflect our evolution over the years. Ducks are hard-workers, but they make it look easy: gliding on top of the water while they are paddling hard underneath. This is what we do for our clients.

Our name is also a nod to our roots and the famous "Make Way for Ducklings" statue on the Boston Common.

Worth noting (for our fellow animal geeks): The Blue Duck, or Hymenolaimus Malacorhynchos, is a rare duck and a powerful swimmer - even in strong currents. That's us. Paddling through even the strongest currents to deliver on your goals.

“Partner” is a term that you hear a lot these days, but it means something different at Blue Duck Agency. Being a great partner starts internally. Building a special team of individuals who are even better together than when they are apart. The strength, commitment and collaboration allows us to leverage one another’s unique skills to produce strong campaigns. We are a top-down “roll your sleeves up” organization and that will never change.

It’s also important to note that our team extends beyond our ‘walls’ at Blue Duck Agency. We have a committed team of full-time employees, but also carefully complement that team with our extended network of top-notch professionals, many of whom we have been working with for 10+ years. This is an intentional structure that allows us to diversify offerings, generate new thinking, support timelines and pivot when needed, and just generally makes us stronger.
